Can you show us your favorite Austin activity in less than four minutes? Then you could win an HD Flip video camera from the Austin Post.

All you need is your smart phone or digital camera, you don't need anything fancy to win this contest. 

We want you to submit your homemade video showcasing your favorite thing to do in Austin. Sampling breakfast tacos? Learning the harmonica? Unicycling? Going to the dog park?

The contest will start April 1 and on May 15, we’ll see which video gets the most votes from our readers. You’ll have six weeks to shoot your video, post it and share the link with your friends so they can vote for you. 

Here’s how to post:

1.     If you’re not already a registered user of the Austin Post, click “Join Austin Post.” Register for a username and password.

2.     Post your video to You Tube, no more than four minutes.

3.     When you’re ready to post your video, go to “Publish an Article.”

4.     In the headline, write, “Austin Post Video Contest” followed by the title of your video. Make it catchy!

5.     Categorize it under “To do.”

6.     In the “article body” area, look for the icon that says “You Tube.” Paste the URL of your video, and hit “submit article!”

7.     In order to get points and win, tell your friends to register. They can give your video a point by clicking the “thumbs up” icon below your post.

8.     I’ll tally the points on May 15 to determine the winner!
