This Sunday: The Journey of Environmental Stewardship -- Part 2
This Sunday, April 18, I'll present part two of The Journey of Environmental Stewardship series at Austin's historic First Baptist Church (founded in 1847, just a few years after Austin itself was founded). Session 2 is more heavily focused on 'the environment' part of environmental stewardship, covering the following areas: Review of Key Biblical & Theological ideas, Review of Key Ecological ideas, and a Focus on Eco Solutions 2, 3, & 4: Biodiversity Conservation, Non Toxic Products Use, and Waste Reductions.**
The Journey of Environmental Stewardship is an educational program that helps Christian believers see the Biblical basis for Creation care, and connect those principles to intelligent eco-living.
Each class is discussion-based, and about 60 minutes in length. Classes are twice daily: 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (repeat). Adults and teens are invited to attend as many sessions as they can, be ready for group discussion, and to bring questions. More details below.
