Jack Black comes to Town

Jack Black will be in town around ACL Festival's dates (October 8-10) to shoot "Bernie" with local director Richard Linklater, and the actor is expected to drop by Zilker Park for the music festival.
Comedian extraordinaire Jack Black was actually a big part of the origin of the ACL festival.
According to Austin360.com, promoters Charlie Jones and Charles Attal signed String Cheese Incident to co-headline the ACL fest with Tenacious D, Jack Black's band.
"Bernie," by the way, will be filmed in the Austin area, and a few scenes will be filmed in Bastrop and Smithville.
