Austin Multi-Sport Leagues

Austin's is home to a hotbed of sports leagues for its active residents, but the problem can be finding out where, when, and who they play, start, and include. Austin Sports and Social Club, open to any adult over 21, combines team sports with social gatherings including happy hours, party barges, and events. Sports offered include: bowling, dodgeball, flag football, indoor volleyball, sand volleyball, kickball, soccer, softball, ultimate frisbee, and wiffleball. In addition, ASSC hosts weekend tournaments in kickball, 3x3 basketball, softball, flag football, dodgeball, sand volleyball. Over the past few years, ASSC has expanded to offer competitive events including an adult spelling bee and the Austin 10k+, and 10 kilometer adventure race.

Leagues and Club Teams by Sport

Baseball
Austin Metro Baseball League
The largest amateur baseball league in Texas, with nearly 40 teams and 700 ballplayers. The League is divided into 4 different age brackets (18+, 25+, 35+, 45+) so that players can play with other players of like abilities, competition levels, age similarities, and common interests.

Central Texas Baseball League
Men’s recreational league that plays with modified MLB rules, with hard balls on local fields. Most games are on Sundays, with some on Saturdays.

Rugby

Coed Sand Volleyball Leagues for 4s and 6s (recreational, intermediate, advanced) run Sunday through Friday Evenings.

Tournaments are held most Saturdays and Sundays.
Women’s (BB, A), Men’s (BB, A), Coed (BB, 4s), and Blind Draw 4s

Courts are available for hourly rental during the day and after leagues play at night. Many players will stay to enjoy drinks and volleyball until closing time at 2 am on the weekends.

Leagues play on Sunday nights (recreational), and Tuesdays and Wednesdays through Austin Sports and Social Club.

Volleyball courts available for rental 7 days a week.

The newest is Super Social Sports (www.supersocialsports.com). SSS just started up a few months ago and offers sand volleyball and kickball leagues.
