Ben Harper and Relentless7 fire up the crowd at ACL 2009

Ben Harper gave an incredible performance. From the moment he sat down to play, he rocked the stage with the most amazing intensity. The song Shimmer and Shine sounded incredible! The Austin crowd loves this almost Austin band, other than Harper, Jason Mozersky (lead guitar), Jesse Ingalls (bass and keyboards), and Jordan Richardson (drums) are all Austin natives! The latest scoop according to an interview with Ben Harper on News 8 Austin is that he will most likely move to Austin in the near future. I also noticed Meg Ryan walking on stage to sit in the VIP area just before the show started.
