If you are visiting the capital city, you need to know which hotels in Austin are the best suited to fit your travel needs. Of course, there are several elements to choosing the best one for you -- there are so many great hotels in Austin to pick from!
If you’re only going to be in the downtown area, there are numerous hotels to check out. The Driskill hotel is one of the most historic hotels in Austin and has a grand ambience the moment you step in the door. The Four Seasons hotel carries the name with celebrity status, and the Omni, Hilton, and Stephen F. Austin InterContinental are all walking distance to Sixth Street , the capitol building and convention center.
If you’re looking for the most unique hotels in Austin, check out Austin Motel and Hotel San Jose. These could also be classified as boutique hotels in Austin. Others worth discovering are Hotel Saint Cecilia and Kimber Modern, which are both hip and trendy. A boutique bed and breakfast is Brava House also in the heart of Austin
If you’re coming to Austin for business, any of the downtown hotels in Austin I listed are a great starting point to consider. However, if you’re doing business outside the downtown area, I have a few more hotels in Austin to recommend. In North Austin, there is the stylish Renaissance Hotel, right on the edge of the hill country. If you’re working in South Austin, there is the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark that offers luxury and is ideally situated adjacent to I-35 to get around for business or to the airport.
If you’re looking for romantic hotels in Austin, the downtown area has the gorgeous estate of Inn at Pearl Street and the Mansion at Judge’s Hill, which is an elegant getaway in a city setting. If you’re looking for more of a resort than one of the hotels in Austin, Barton Creek Resort & Spa offers a premier beauty in the gorgeous hills of Westlake which is one of the top golf resorts in Texas. And the same goes if you want to stay right outside the city, the Hyatt Regency Lost Pine Resort and Spa near Bastrop has a gorgeous surrounding.
If you’re looking for charming, luxurious, or for business, I hope this list helps narrow down your search for the best hotels in Austin!
