Feed us your fun!
If you missed the party at Molotov last week, not only did you miss Wiretree and Royal Forest, two fantastic bands that will be all over SXSW, you also missed the announcement about our SXSW Content Contest.
And, we missed you!
The Austin Post will give away four $50 gift cards to Waterloo records at the end of SXSW. One will go to the user who submits the most photos. One will go to the user that submits the most articles. One will go to the user who gets the most views, and the last to the user who gets the most votes.
(In order to vote, you have to be registered – so bug you friends to register so they can give you a “thumbs up” on your story or photos!
We want you to submit your reviews, photos, previews and news from SXSW. Whether you discovered a great band, saw a terrible film, found an amazing party or caught some celebs with your camera, we want to help you get your content out there!
If you’re new to the Austin Post, registration is easy.
- Click “register” at the top right of the page
- Create a unique username
- Once your confirmation is mailed to you, you can create a profile
- See the “submit article” icon on the right? Click there.
- Write a catchy headline, categorize under “SXSW 2010,” paste your photos and text, submit and you’re an Austin Post reporter!
We’ll tally up the results at the end of the festival, and then I’d love to meet the winners for coffee. If you have any questions or technical difficulties, please e-mail me, karie@austinpost.org.
Happy posting!
