Jessica Alba in the Next “Spy Kids” Movie?
Jessica Alba just might be in the fourth “Spy Kids” movie.
News has it that there's an ongoing negotiation about signing Jessica Alba to star in the latest installment of Austin filmmaker Robert Rodriguez's popular film franchise.
According to this post, if talks will work out fine, Jessica Alba will play a mother of three, a baby and two preteens, in “Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World.” Her character is set to fight the villain who can stop time and is appropriately called the Timekeeper.
Like most of Robert Rodriguez's films, the movie is set to shoot in Austin, where the director keeps his studio. The film is scheduled to be shown in 2011, ten years since the original “Spy Kids” hit the big screen.
The original Spy Kids, Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara, who are both in their twenties now, will appear in the film. Spy parent played by Antonio Banderas will also be included in the cast. No news yet on who will play the characters of the new Spy Kids.
As per Hollywood Reporter's post, the film will focus on Jessica Alba's character of “a retired spy who has been reinstated.”
Jessica Alba also stars in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez grindhouse flick “Machete.”
