Yeah, what's up with that, huh?
Dorothy Gambrell of Psychology Today put together a map of the number-one places where missed connections occur by state. It's very telling and also pretty hilarious. It turns out that the top locale for random sights of others that strike our fancy here in the Lone Star State is at WalMart. Which raises the question: Where do those of us who boycott WalMart for its many sins go to be spotted and vice-versa? Target? And we have to wonder if here in Austin, isn't it the H-E-B where we most frequently get a glance that entrances?
